Acne care

Korean skincare for blemish- and acne-prone skin works gently rather than aggressively: heartleaf and centella calm, BHA clears the pores, hydrocolloid patches cover individual spots, and light gel creams keep the skin barrier stable. Find the matching cleansers, toners, serums and patches here.

Guide: Acne care

Caring for blemish-prone skin without drying it out

Many anti-blemish routines rely on drying products that weaken the skin barrier and provoke more sebum in the long run. The Korean approach is gentler: a mild cleanse, a soothing toner, a targeted serum and a light moisturiser. Ingredients such as heartleaf, tea tree, BHA and niacinamide support a clearer complexion.

A simple routine for blemish-prone skin

  1. In the evening, double cleansing with a light oil and a gel cleanser.
  2. Soothing toner with heartleaf or centella.
  3. Two to three times a week BHA pads or toner, on the other evenings a niacinamide serum.
  4. Light gel cream; a hydrocolloid patch overnight on individual spots.
  5. In the morning a light sunscreen without heavy oils.

Note: cosmetic skincare supports the complexion with mild blemishes. For inflammatory or persistent acne, dermatological advice helps; our products do not replace treatment.

Frequently asked questions

Which Korean ingredients are suitable for spots?

BHA (salicylic acid) for clogged pores, heartleaf and centella for soothing, niacinamide for sebum regulation and complexion, tea tree as a clarifying plant extract.

How do pimple patches work?

Hydrocolloid patches absorb fluid from a mature spot, protect it from touching and help the area settle faster. Apply overnight and remove in the morning.

Do I have to skip moisturiser if my skin is blemish-prone?

No. A light, non-comedogenic gel cream keeps the skin barrier intact. Dried-out skin often reacts with more sebum.
