Terms of service
§ 1 Scope and terms
(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all orders that you place with us via the online shop “Kunnie – K-Beauty”, as well as to the use of the customer account “My Kunnie” and participation in the loyalty programme “Kunnie Rewards”. The provider and your contractual partner is Finn Klapper Softwaretechnik (hereinafter “Kunnie”, “we” or “us”; contact details in § 2).
(2) The version of these General Terms and Conditions that is valid at the time of your order applies. Differing conditions from customers only apply if we have expressly agreed to them.
(3) Our offer is aimed primarily at consumers; Businesses can also order. Regulations that only apply to one of these groups are marked accordingly. The legal terms apply:
- consumer is “any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that cannot predominantly be attributed to their commercial or independent professional activity” (§ 13 BGB).
- Business customer is “a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when concluding a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their commercial or independent professional activity” (Section 14 Paragraph 1 BGB).
§ 2 Contractual partners and contact
Your contractual partner is:

- Owner: Finn Klapper
- VAT number: DE353281359
- Telephone: +49 172 3027957
- Email: hello@kunnie.com
Our online shop runs on the Shopify platform. Shopify only provides the technology and does not become a partner in your purchase agreement. Please direct questions, complaints and other concerns to the contact details listed above.
§ 3 Conclusion of contract
(1) The presentation of our products in the online shop does not constitute a binding offer from us. Rather, it invites you to make an offer yourself.
(2) The ordering process goes like this:
- You put the desired products in the shopping cart. There you can change products and quantities at any time.
- From the shopping cart you go to the checkout. There you enter your email address and your delivery address and select shipping method and payment method.
- Before submitting, you will see the products ordered, their prices, shipping costs and the total amount.
- By clicking on the button that completes the ordering process (labelled “Order with obligation to pay” or an equivalent wording such as “Buy now”), you are making a binding offer to purchase the products in the shopping cart.
(3) Immediately afterwards you will receive an automatically generated order confirmation by email. It only confirms that we have received your order and does not constitute acceptance of your offer.
(4) The purchase contract is concluded as soon as we accept your offer. This is done by sending you a separate order confirmation or shipping confirmation by email or by delivering the goods to you - whichever comes first. We can accept your offer within five days; the period begins the day after you submit your order. If we do not accept your order by the end of this period, you will no longer be bound to your order.
(5) For some payment methods, the amount is debited or reserved when the order is sent. This happens in anticipation of the conclusion of the contract. If no contract is concluded, for example because a product is not available, we will inform you immediately, immediately refund any amounts already paid and release reserved amounts.
§ 4 Contract language, contract text and input errors
(1) The contract may be concluded in the languages offered in the shop. The language you select when completing your order is authoritative.
(2) We save the contract text, i.e. your order data and these General Terms and Conditions. You will receive your order details with the order confirmation by email. We will send you a confirmation of the contract with these general terms and conditions and the withdrawal policy in text form at the latest when the goods are delivered. You can access, save and print the current version of the General Terms and Conditions on this page at any time. Orders that are assigned to your customer account can also be found under “My Kunnie”.
(3) Until you click on the order button, you can check and correct all entries: products and quantities in the shopping cart, contact, delivery and payment details directly in the respective fields of the checkout. You can also cancel the ordering process at any time by leaving the page.
(4) Your order is processed primarily by email. Please make sure that your email address is correct and that our messages do not get caught in a spam filter.
§ 5 Customer account “My Kunnie”
(1) You can create a customer account with us free of charge.
(2) Sign-in works without a password: Every time you sign in you will receive a one-time code to the email address provided. The code is intended only for you. Please do not pass it on, protect access to your email inbox and inform us immediately if you suspect misuse of your account.
(3) In the customer account you can see your orders, your wish list and your Kunnie Rewards points balance. The wish list is purely a reminder function: products on it are not reserved, prices and availability may change.
(4) Please provide truthful information and keep it up to date.
(5) You can have your customer account deleted at any time, for example by email hello@kunnie.com. Your participation in Kunnie Rewards also ends upon deletion (§ 14 Paragraph 1). We may block or delete a customer account for good cause, especially if it is used improperly.
(6) We explain how we process your data in our Privacy Policy.
§ 6 Prices, shipping costs and discount codes
(1) All prices are final prices in euros including statutory VAT. Shipping costs are additional, unless otherwise stated.
(2) The shipping costs per order are:
- Standard shipping to all EU countries, Switzerland and Norway: €4.99
- Germany, express shipping: €9.99
- Standard shipping is free for goods worth at least €39 in Germany, €79 in the other EU countries, and €80 in Switzerland and Norway, after all discounts.
You can see the shipping costs applicable to your order before submitting the order. For more information, see Shipping & Delivery.
(3) For deliveries to Switzerland and Norway, Kunnie covers import charges (customs duties and local VAT) as well as customs clearance fees. You pay nothing extra upon delivery. We do not deliver to the United Kingdom.
(4) You can only redeem discount codes during the ordering process before sending the order; subsequent crediting is not possible. The conditions stated with the code apply. Section 14 applies to vouchers from Kunnie Rewards.
§ 7 Payment
(1) You can pay with the payment methods displayed in the ordering process.
(2) The purchase price is due upon conclusion of the contract, unless another time is specified for the chosen payment method. For information about debiting or making reservations when sending the order, see § 3 Paragraph 5.
(3) We use payment service providers to process payments. The relationship between you and the respective payment service provider may also be subject to their own terms and conditions.
§ 8 Delivery
(1) We deliver to all 27 European Union countries, Switzerland and Norway. You can select your delivery country during checkout.
(2) For standard shipping, the delivery period within Germany is 1–2 working days, to enabled neighbouring countries (§ 6 para. 2) 2–4 working days and to other enabled EU countries 3–6 working days, unless otherwise stated for the respective product. For express shipping, the information under Shipping & Delivery applies. The delivery period begins on the day after the contract is concluded. If advance payment has been agreed and you pay only after submitting your order, it begins on the day after we receive your payment. Norway: approximately 4–8 days.
(3) We only make partial deliveries if they are reasonable for you. This means you will not incur any additional shipping costs.
(4) If the goods cannot be delivered for reasons for which you are responsible (for example due to an incorrect address), we can demand the reasonable costs incurred as a result. However, you will not bear the shipping costs if you effectively exercise your right of withdrawal.
(5) If you are a consumer, the risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the goods only passes to you when they are handed over to you or to a person authorised to receive them. If you are a business customer, the risk is transferred to you when the goods are handed over to the shipping company.
§ 9 Right of withdrawal
(1) As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days. You can find out how the deadline is calculated, how to give notice of withdrawal, what consequences it has and in which cases the right of withdrawal does not exist or expires prematurely Withdrawal policy.
(2) Please note in particular the rule for sealed cosmetics: For sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene, the right of withdrawal expires prematurely if their seal has been removed after delivery (§ 312g Para. 2 No. 3 BGB).
§ 10 Voluntary 30-Day Return Guarantee
(1) In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, we voluntarily offer you a return option: you may return products in their unopened original packaging within 30 days of receiving the goods. Returns from Germany are free; for returns from other countries, you bear the direct return shipping costs.
(2) You can find the exact requirements and the process on the page Withdrawal policy in the return guarantee section.
(3) The return guarantee is an additional service and does not limit your legal rights. Your statutory right of withdrawal (§ 9) and your statutory rights in respect of defects (§ 12) exist regardless of this. You can also assert these rights if the conditions of the return guarantee are not met, for example because a product has already been opened.
§ 11 Retention of title
The delivered goods remain our property until full payment.
§ 12 Liability for defects (warranty)
(1) The legal regulations regarding liability for defects apply. The deviations in paragraph 3 also apply to business customers.
(2) If you receive a shipment with obvious transport damage, please complain to the delivery person as soon as possible and let us know. This makes it easier for us to clarify things with the shipping company. However, your legal rights do not depend on this.
(3) If you are a business customer, the following applies:
- Claims due to defects expire one year from delivery of the goods.
- If you are a merchant within the meaning of the Commercial Code, you are obliged to immediately inspect the goods and report defects in accordance with Section 377 of the German Commercial Code (HGB).
- The shortening of the limitation period does not apply to claims for damages (§ 13 applies to this), not in the case of fraudulent concealment of a defect, not if we have given a guarantee, and not for recourse claims according to §§ 445a, 445b and 478 BGB.
§ 13 Liability
(1) We have unlimited liability
- in the event of intent and gross negligence,
- for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health,
- in the case of fraudulent concealment of a defect and to the extent that we have given a guarantee,
- according to the Product Liability Act and in all other cases of mandatory legal liability.
(2) If we breach an essential contractual obligation through slight negligence, our liability is limited to the damage that was foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and is typical for such a contract. Essential contractual obligations (cardinal obligations) are obligations without the fulfilment of which the contract cannot be carried out properly and on whose compliance you can regularly rely - for example our obligation to hand over and transfer the ordered goods to you free of defects.
(3) Furthermore, we are not liable for slightly negligent breaches of duty.
(4) These regulations also apply to the benefit of our legal representatives, employees and vicarious agents.
§ 14 Conditions of Participation Kunnie Rewards
With Kunnie Rewards you collect points on your purchases that you can exchange for discount vouchers. In addition to these General Terms and Conditions, the following conditions apply to participation.
(1) Participation. Participation is free. The prerequisite is a customer account “My Kunnie” (§ 5). You can terminate your participation at any time by deleting your customer account. When your participation ends, your points balance expires and vouchers that have already been created can no longer be redeemed because they are tied to the customer account. Please redeem redeemable points beforehand.
(2) Collect points. For every full euro value of goods that you pay in an order, you will receive 1 point. The decisive factor is the price of the goods after deduction of all discounts, including VAT and excluding shipping costs. Example: If you pay €47.80 for the goods and €5.99 for shipping, you will receive 47 points. Points are awarded for orders that are assigned to your customer account - this also includes orders that you placed without logging in using the email address of your customer account.
(3) Reserved and redeemable points. As soon as your order has been paid for, the points will be credited to you as “reserved”. They will only be redeemable after the 30-day return period has expired, namely 35 days after the delivery date (30-day return period plus a 5-day buffer for processing returns). If we do not know a delivery date, the fifth day after the shipping date is considered the delivery date. If an order is delivered in several shipments, the last shipment is decisive; The points remain reserved until the order has been completely shipped.
(4) Deduction of points. If goods are returned, refunded or cancelled, we will deduct the points credited for them. In the event of a partial refund, we will deduct the points in proportion to the amount refunded. Example: If you received 40 points for the value of goods paid for €40 and we refund €10 of that, we will deduct 10 points. If the points to be deducted have already been redeemed, we will offset the deduction against future points; This may cause your points balance to be temporarily negative.
(5) Redeem points. 50 points equals a €1 discount. You can convert redeemable points into a voucher in your customer account in increments of €1 (50 points), up to a maximum of €10 (500 points) per voucher. The points will be deducted from your balance. The following applies to each voucher:
- It is a one-time use code, tied to your customer account and can only be redeemed for orders via this customer account.
- It applies to orders with a goods value of €20 or more (before deduction of the voucher).
- Only one voucher can be redeemed per order.
- It cannot be combined with other discount codes; discounts on shipping costs are an exception.
- It has no expiration date.
- It is not paid out in cash and is not transferable.
(6) Cancellation or refund of an order with a voucher. If an order for which you have redeemed a voucher is cancelled or fully refunded, we will restore the points redeemed for that voucher once; the voucher code becomes invalid. If only a partial refund is made, no redeemed points will be restored.
(7) No monetary value. Points have no monetary value. They are not paid out and are not transferable.
(8) Abuse. In the event of misuse - for example through false information, technical manipulation or circumventing these conditions via multiple customer accounts - we can exclude you from participation and cancel points and vouchers obtained improperly. Anyone who uses their right of withdrawal, their rights for defects or the return guarantee is not acting abusively.
(9) Changes to and termination of the programme. We may change or terminate Kunnie Rewards with effect for the future. We will notify you by email at least four weeks in advance. Points already earned, including points from orders already paid for that become redeemable at a later date, remain redeemable under the previous conditions. Vouchers already issued remain valid.
(10) Data protection. For Kunnie Rewards we process your account and order data. Details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
§ 15 Dispute resolution
(1) The EU Commission's former platform for online dispute resolution was discontinued on July 20, 2025.
(2) We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body.
(3) If you have a concern, please contact us directly at hello@kunnie.com. We will endeavour to find an amicable solution.
§ 16 Applicable law and place of jurisdiction
(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a consumer, this choice of law only applies to the extent that it does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection regulations of the country in which you have your habitual residence.
(2) If you are a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contracts with us is our place of business.
§ 17 Final provisions
Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the rest of the contract remains effective. Invalid provisions are replaced by statutory provisions.
