Oily skin

Korean skincare for oily skin relies on light textures instead of stripping: gel cleansers, toner pads with BHA or PHA, niacinamide serums and gel creams that absorb quickly. This selection reduces shine without weakening the skin barrier.

Guide: Oily skin

Why oily skin needs moisture

Oily skin produces a lot of sebum but can be dehydrated at the same time. If it is dried out, it often reacts with even more sebum. Light, water-based care with niacinamide, hyaluronic acid and heartleaf keeps the balance; oils and heavy creams stay out.

Routine for oily skin

  1. In the evening, double cleansing with a light oil and a gel cleanser; in the morning, gel cleanser.
  2. Toner pads with BHA two to three times a week, otherwise a light toner.
  3. Niacinamide serum.
  4. Gel cream; in the morning a light sunscreen without oils.
  5. A clay mask once a week.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a cleansing oil if my skin is oily?

Yes, in the evening: it dissolves sunscreen and sebum thoroughly and rinses off without residue. Then follow with the gel cleanser.

Which sunscreen for oily skin?

Light, watery textures such as sun serums or gel sunscreens with a mattifying finish, for example SKIN1004 Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum.
