Dry skin

Korean skincare for dry skin layers hydration: a cleansing balm instead of foam, a hyaluronic toner in several layers, snail mucin or rice essence and finally a cream with ceramides or a sleeping mask. This selection keeps tight, flaky skin hydrated for hours.

Guide: Dry skin

Caring for dry skin properly

Dry skin lacks lipids and moisture at the same time. The Korean routine answers with several thin layers of water-based care (toner, essence, serum) and a lipid-rich cream that seals everything in. Cleanse only gently and with lukewarm water, no foaming cleansers with strong surfactants.

Tip: slugging

For very dry skin, a thin layer of balm or petroleum jelly over the cream in the evening can hold the moisture in overnight. Not for blemish-prone skin.

Frequently asked questions

Which cleanser for dry skin?

A cleansing balm or oil in the evening and, in the morning, only water or a creamy, low-foaming cleanser.

Is one cream enough for dry skin?

Layering is better: toner, serum or essence and then the cream. The cream alone cannot replace missing moisture.
